We built it because finding a groomer in Puchong used to mean scrolling through scattered Facebook pages, dead phone numbers, and Google listings that never told you whether a place takes cats, does mobile grooming, or handles large breeds. How the score works

Every business in the directory gets a composite score from 0 to 100. The score is calculated from five measured signals. Here is what each one is and why it matters when you are choosing someone to handle your pet.

Signal	Weight	What we measure
Rating	30%	The business's aggregate star rating on Google. It carries the most weight because it is the broadest summary of customer experience across all reviews.
Sentiment	28%	An AI-assisted reading of recent review themes: what customers praise and what they complain about. A string of comments about a dog coming home with cuts, or about staff ignoring anxious animals, will pull this score down even if the star average looks fine.
Volume	18%	How many reviews the business has collected, measured on a log scale. This means a business with 200 reviews scores meaningfully higher than one with 10, but a business with 2,000 reviews does not dwarf one with 200. A handful of reviews should not carry the same weight as hundreds.
Recency	14%	How recently customers have been leaving reviews. A groomer that was well-reviewed two years ago but has gone quiet since then scores lower here. Staff change, ownership changes, and quality drifts, so recent feedback matters.
Completeness	10%	Whether the listing includes a phone number, website, opening hours, and a physical address. A business that cannot be contacted or located easily is harder for you to use, and that is reflected in the score.

Low-confidence scores

Businesses with very few recent reviews are labelled low confidence in their listing. Their score is mathematically valid but is based on thin data. Treat those scores as a starting point, not a verdict.

How we use reviews

We synthesise review content to produce the sentiment signal. We do not republish individual reviews verbatim. For the source, every listing links directly to the business's Google profile so you can read the reviews yourself.

Rankings and paid placement

A business's position in the directory is determined by its composite score alone. We do not accept payment to move a listing up the rankings or to change its score. When paid placement exists on a page, it is always clearly labelled as such, and it has no effect on any business's score or organic rank.
